Hope XXL Triple-A Summit is inviting applications from ambitious, international minded youth who are eager to make a change in the world.  Hope XXL Triple-A Summit, International Conference is being held in The Hague, The Netherlands from 28th to 31st May 2014. This is a chance to meet young people from all over the world and develop a vision on the future. The program is designed to enhance international dialogue and develop young people’s vision on the future.

Hope XXL is an event where young people from around the world come together to draft a new vision on the future. The participants draft a manifesto called ‘Liemers List’, stating ideas on issues ranging from sustainability and peace to international cooperation and human rights. The Liemers List thus prepared will be presented to the United Nations General Assembly and the UN will be asked to take the lead in implementing the Liemers List.

The event is set to inspire participants with renowned speakers and an amazing program in The Hague, the International City of Peace and Justice, and to develop young people’s vision on the future as the final step before the HOPE XXL Global Summit.

Eligibility

Young people from 18 and 29 years of age who are motivated to contribute to develop young people’s vision on the future, from Asia-Pacific, Africa or North- or South America can apply.

Costs

Participants must be willing and able to pay their visa and travel costs. They are responsible for arranging their travel and visa in time. Participation is free of charge and includes the program, accommodation and meals.

Application

The deadline for applications is 16 February 2014.

Note on visas: It can take a long time to obtain a visa for The Netherlands. If you travel from outside the European Union, organizers strongly advise to start arranging your visa as soon as you get the selection results.
