This Fall, we will be awarding eight (8) – $5,000 scholarships to students attending your intuitions. Here is the eligibility criteria:
ELIGIBILTY
Ø Demonstrated financial need
Ø Junior or Senior
Ø Students of color
Ø Minimum grade point average of 2.8
Ø Approved majors: mathematics, sciences (excluding pre-professional track sciences), engineering, marketing/advertising, communications and public policy
Ø Attend one of these Minnesota Private College campuses: Augsburg College; Bethel University; Concordia University, St. Paul; or University of St. Thomas
Ø Minnesota resident – home residence must be in Xcel Energy service area (see attached list.
There will be an application process and the deadline for this scholarship is September 15, 2015. We need your help in identifying students who would fit the above criteria. I am attaching the scholarship application for you to distribute to eligible students. The Minnesota Private College Fund will be reaching out to you directly to set-up a meeting to discuss this opportunity.
