CPC’s 2018 Summer Internship Program (applications due April 6, 2018)

CPC is seeking motivated, highly conversant individuals who want to work in NYC’s Asian American nonprofit environment. Interns will be compensated. Program description is attached and available on their website.

 

Health Care Professional for CPC Incident Review Committee

The Chinese-American Planning Council is seeking important members to join its Incident Review Committee (IRC). CPC operates several special needs programs for developmentally disabled clients and their family members (funded through the state’s Office for People With Developmental Disabilities [OPWDD]) primarily from our Queens and Brooklyn offices.  We need to bring on at least one health care provider (physician, registered nurse, nurse practitioner, psychologist) to this committee.  Membership in our IRC is a community service, and is voluntary and unpaid. Majority of our meetings are held over conference call. Suggestions and inquiries should be directed to Steve Yip, director of operations, at syip@cpc-nyc.org

 

Resident Wellness Coordinator for Hong Ning Housing for the Elderly

CPC is seeking a qualified individual in social work (or related area) to fill the position of Resident Wellness Coordinator to be based in Hong Ning Housing. The Resident Wellness Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to provide both individual case work services and socialization opportunities to residents residing in the CPC-affiliated housing units at Hong Ning Senior Housing.
